Need To Go On After A Breakup? Read this!
If you have just separated with your boyfriend/girlfriend, you're heartbroken. You're shattered. You seem to have given up hope. There's no way, you think, you're going to get her back. You can't find a way to get over her either. Read this article if you said yes to any of those situations above. These tips will help you go through the situation and come out with flying colors.
However, I'll tell you one thing before I start. I can totally relate to the current situation you're in: mixed bag of feelings, a roller coaster of emotions. However, to get over your ex, you'll have to strictly follow what I'm suggesting.
Staying busy is the obvious first step. One tends to avoid the world and not do anything when he's fresh from a breakup. You want to be alone, lonely, thinking about your past. However, rather than helping you, it only worsens your case and harms your situation. Keep yourself busy: go out with your friends, make new friends, shop for stuff you like, overhaul your entire look. Just do stuff that keep your attention away from the fact that you've recently been through a tough breakup phase.
Come what may, you must never attempt to get back into the relationship. Once the decision is made from both the sides, let it stand. Why I'm saying this is because even if you try, nothing positive will come out of it and you'll be kicking yourself for putting in all this hard work for nothing. It'll hurt your self-esteem too. You absolutely don't want to go there. Numerous people commit this mistake and, as a result, the whole process becomes a vicious circle that seems to have absolutely no end.
Remove everything that remind you of your ex. Everything means everything -- her photos, belongings, contact numbers, gifts, everything. Don't try to get in touch with her family members either. Just disappear off her life. At the same time, don't let your rage/anger get the better of you. During the period of your relationship, you must have shared some unique, special moments. You don't need to be angry or resent your decision.
Lastly: start dating! Perhaps you're not ready for long term commitment just yet however, you can begin flirting with girls and enjoying yourself with no goals or long term commitments. Just be clear with your partner. Don't make it a rebound relationship. When you're seeing some person, they may have some feelings for you and you definitely don't want to hurt them.
Also, you need to have good control over yourself in order to overcome your current situation. You may control yourself for a week or two and then make a silly mistake which you regret in future. You start from scratch and just keep making the mistakes over and over again. Due to this, you gain absolutely nothing and lose everything.
